The deadline to submit all documents required to enroll a student is Feb. 1 of the student's senior year. If the student is an early graduate and graduates before Feb. 1 (or before they turn 18 if they are a homeschool student), it is due the day they graduate from high school.

Applicants will be asked to submit documentation to verify their eligibility to the program. This documentation may include but is not limited to:

  • Custody and household information such as divorce decrees, custody orders, or permanent legal guardianship documents.
  • Employment and teaching certification history, if using the teacher eligibility track.

For applicants applying for students in their senior year of high school, only financial documentation from the tax year immediately preceding that calendar year will be accepted. For example, if you apply in fall 2026 for a high school senior, only the 2025 tax return will be accepted.
